The fence that divides the front courts from the back courts is to close to both sides. SERVING and RETURNING from the court sides by the middle fence is not possible or safe. Running toward the fence for lobs is dangerous. All 4 courts are only suitable for drinking drills.
Only open to public on weekdays after 3PM as this serves as a playground on weekdays for PS 134 during the school year. Social and challenge court games on the weekends, weather permitting. Weekday afternoon and evening play in the summer is coordinated via slack group.
Tony Dapolito Recreation Center is closed until Spring 2024 due to structural issues found during an construction project on the center’s exterior and is currently being addressed and rectified.
One private court ,with lounge area TV, pingpong table , blu tooth speakers enables yout o play your favorite musics.No obseervers no on-lookers, just your group.
